How would you feel if bobcats or coyotes roamed your neighborhood? Adirondack residents coexist with a number of predators. How do you think they feel about predators in their backyards?

We all have opinions about wildlife-some species we like, others we don't. Our ideas may be based on appearances, experience, or economic reasons. Some species can cause real problems, others may have an undeserved bad reputation. To understand the landscape, we need to better understand how local people feel about local wildlife.

If you could pick three wild species to live in your neighborhood, what would they be? Why?
Which two species would you really not want living in your neighborhood? Why?
Can you think of any animals that have an undeserved bad reputation?
